The MCT provided capacity-building support to BAKAMLA personnel for
matters necessary for maritime law enforcement activities through the
JICA framework.
During this mission, practical training was conducted on criminal
investigation procedures related to oil discharge incidents, with a
focus on initial response at the scene.
Guidance was also provided on how to prepare documents incorporating
photographs, sketches, and other findings from the practical exercise.
Participants presented the documents they had prepared, thereby
reviewing a series of procedures required for criminal investigations.
We will continue to respond with precise care to their requests
regarding our support through consultations. While strengthening our
relationships of trust, MCT will effectively implement capacitybuilding
support by maintaining consistency and continuity.
The JCG will strengthen cooperation and collaboration with the coast
guard agencies of other countries to realize a Free and Open Indo-
Pacific (FOIP), while supporting capacity-building efforts for
countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
