Visual Aids to Navigation Night Mark Lighthouse Structures with light established to assist a vessel in fixing its position or to indicate special point such as landfall point, staring point or the position of port or breakwater  are called "Lighthouse" or "Light Staff" depending to its shape of structure. 3,212
Light Staff 9
Light Beacon Structures with light installed on shore reefs or shoals to show existence of obstacle or route for ships 263
Projector This light shows existence of rock, head of breakwater or reef. 166
Direction Light This light emits three different color beams that are white, red and green. The center beam of white light indicates navigable water, the green light dangerous area on port, and red light the same on  starboard. 20
Leading Light A pair of lights is used for indication of narrow channel (A ship is led by seeing these lights on a line). 54
Light Buoy Buoys with light floating at sea, installed to indicate the existence of   obstacles such as shallows, sunken vessel, or to show the fairway 1,433
Day mark Beacon Structures which are substantially the same as the lighthouse, the light beacon and the light buoy, but not emitting light are called "Beacon" and "Unlighted  Buoys" respectively. 115
Unlighted Buoy 56
Radio Aids to Navigation Loran-C Station Transmits radio signals for ships to fix their position using a Loran receiver or a  Decca receiver. One chain consists of three stations or more. 4
Decca Station 8
Differential GPS(DGPS) A system to enhance accuracy of GPS (100m) into less than 10m, as well as to broadcast warning information such as unscheduled outage through radio beacon signal. 2
Radio Beacon Station Medium Wave Radio Beacon Station Transmits non-directional signal (medium wave) at specific times so that ships can obtain the bearing of the station using a direction finder. 18
Ramark Beacon(Microwave) Transmits microwave signal that is appeared onboard radar display as bright dot line.(Ramark Beacon: The bright dot line indicates the bearing of the station. /Radar Beacon:The bright dot line indicate the position of the station.) 45
Radar Beacon
(Microwave)

Fog Signal Station
(Audible Aids to Navigation)
Aids to navigation making use of sounds signal are referred to as audible aids to navigation.  Audible aids to navigation emit sound signal to ships notifying position of a lighthouse, etc in case of poor visibility due to fog, snow, etc. 23
The Others Tidal Stream Signal Station Notifies change of tide flow direction and velocity to ships in a channel of strong tide flow by figure, light signal board, light or radio. 8
Vessel Traffic Signal Station Collects vessel traffic information in the sea areas of specific traffic route or in congested sea area using some equipment such as radars and TVs, and provides the information to ships in the sea. 22
